Lazio Region launches photographic promotional initiative - The Tourism Councillor of the Lazio Region, Raffaele Ranucci, has presented the “Scatta il Lazio” (Take a Snapshot of Lazio) competition, “with which tourists are invited to take a photo and send it to the website www.scattaillazio.it in order to be rewarded with 
stays at regional tourism destinations,” he explained. In 2006 Lazio registered a 9.4% increase in arrivals and a 7.7% increase in overnights, surpassing the results of the Jubilee with 12 million arrivals and 29 million overnights. Rome attracted 85.4% of entering tourists (10.2 millon) and 75.8% of those present in the region (21.8 million). It was followed by seaside destinations, other art cities and the Appenines and lakes. Venice launches tourism map and new accessible itineraries - The Municipality

mhm, that’s an old problem…the war between Pisa and Florence airports…I think it’s really strange, a connection between pisa and N.Y., no direct connection between Florence and America…I went twice to California, and I had to do Florence - Germany (or north Europe) - America…sob….
