Florence Hotel Anglo American

In a central and quiet position, between Lungarno and Borgognissanti, the Hotel Anglo American was built in the year 1792 and has been recently restored. Wide and elegant, the Hotel reflects the history and fascination of the "City of Iris". The antique furniture, the rich paintings from the Florence school on the walls, the spacious and to the last detail furnished rooms, communicate to the guest of Hotel Anglo American a refined and intimate atmosphere. The suites are twenty-nine, among them the prestigious Tolstoy suite, enriched through a suggestive oil painting of Tuscan manufacture from the nineteenth century and a whole floor of the Hotel reserved to non-smokers. The restaurant "Il Granduca" has got Liberty decorations and proposes the recipes of the Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine. The Hotel Anglo American is also equipped with many congress rooms able to contain up to 240 persons.
