Amalfi - Sorrento & Amalfi Coast Hotel Luna Convento |
Rating | Hotel de Charme |
|
The Hotel Luna Convento Amalfi was originally a convent built in the 9th century. In the 13th century, St. Francis of Assisi founded the graceful cloister, where he spent many hours meditating. The poetic atmosphere of the Luna provided inspiration for Henrick Ibsen to write A Doll's House and Richard Wagner to work on Parsifal. All rooms have balconies or views overlooking the sea. The Hotel Luna Convento Amalfi is perched directly on the sea on the east side of Almafi overlooking the entire bay and within walking distance to the town centre.
